About the Tour
If you love Harry Potter and want to live out your wizardry fantasies, this tour is an absolute must! Every year, all our Harry Potter fans make their way to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on this magical and exciting tour. The Glenfinnan Viaduct, built over 110 years ago is the world famous bridge and train line that Hogwarts Express travels along in the Harry Potter films! Apart from this 21 arched, impressive engineering undertaking, you will enjoy the enchanting scenery of Loch Shiel, an unspoiled natural treasure in the Highlands. Loch Shiel was filmed as fictional Blak Lake near Hogwarts in Harry Potter movies. You will have plenty of time to explore Glenfinnan village as we will go walking and hiking in the great country surrounding, visiting the Viaduct, Loch Shiel, Glenfinnan Monument, Glenfinnan Church, Railway Station and more. We will also head up to Fort William and the majestic Three Sisters of Glencoe to hear the history of the Massacre of Glencoe in the heart of Scottish Highlands. Glencoe, perhaps Scotland's most famous, historic and scenic glen boasts of high mountain peaks, ridges, rushing rivers and spectacular waterfalls and we will have a chance to go walking in Glencoe to enjoy its stunning views. So indulge your Harry Potter fantasies and join us deep into the Highlands on this unforgettable student adventure! Interesting Facts
Glenfinnan Viaduct was once the biggest concrete structure in the UK but now famous worldwide for appearing in Harry Potter movies. Glenfinnan Church and Glenfinnan Monument also apear in Made of Honour. Glencoe is the most iconic landmark in the Scottish Highlands and a location of movies such as Harry Potter, Skyfall, Braveheart, Rob Roy, Outlander, Outlaw King and Highlander.
